SUMMER INTERNSHIP APPLICATION

  

The Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District is now taking application for a summer internship. Tasks would incude office work and some field work. This position is part time for the summer. High school graduation is required. This positon would be perfect for a college student home for the summer and actively seeking a degree in natural resources, environmental education, agriculture, or other related fields. Deadline for submission is Thursday May 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.

Muscatatuck Watershed Incentive Program

The Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings and Scott County SWCD’s have applied and were awarded a Clean Water Indiana Grant focusing on the Muscatatuck Watershed.  This grant is for $20,000 per year over a three year period for the four county area.  We are currently taking applications for this latest Grant Project.  Landowners could receive up to a  maximum of $1,000 per year under this incentive program.
